A hotel chain has come up with a new and novel way of ensuring their guests get a good night’s sleep.
Rather than supplying a hot-water bottle, or electric blanket to guests, Holiday Inn have taken the step of employing people to don special all-in-one sleeper suits and get under the bed covers to warm the bed for guests.
The idea of a warm bed is believed to aid better sleep as studies have suggested a warm bed is more condusive to a good night’s sleep than a cold bed says Dr Chris Idzikowsi, of Edinburgh Sleep Centre.
The five minute free bed warming sessions are being tried out in London and Manchester later this month.
