Britney’s naughty little tweet
Posted by Brian | Filed under blogging
As if Twitter don’t have enough trouble on their hands. What with the speculation over whether they’ll make any money in 2009, not to mention the security issues that were brought to life over the weekend, the last thing they needed was Britney telling everyone about the size of her… well you know.
Surprisingly though, it wasn’t actually Britney who actually sent the message, even though it did have a certain ‘Spears-esque’ feel to it. The work was the result of a prankster hacker who also hacked into several other celebrity accounts, sending out comical messages and making headlines across the world.
Sadly Britney was not the only one to be violated, 32 other accounts were attacked and this is just a sample of some of the tweets that made it across the web.
“I am high on crack right now, might not be coming into work today.” – Rich Sanchez
“Bill O’Riley is gay.” – Fox News
“Hi Yall! Brit Brit here, just wanted to update you on the size of my *censored*” – Britney Spears.
The prankster hacker has not been named yet but no doubt Twitter are working overtime to find out who he is. TechCrunch have pointed the finger at a hacker named GMZ who posted dubious messages idolising the hacker on the website digitalgangster.com
Whoever the hacker is, he (or she) has an excellent sense of humour and hopefully he will start a trend of hackers using their skills for comedy value rather than destruction and financial gain.
